After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Collegedale Academy, Georgia-Cumberland Academy was happy to have turned things around on Sunday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Madison Academy Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bela Barbosa out in front who had seven kills and five digs. Milly Crecelius was another key player, getting 15 assists and three digs.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy on the 7th. Madison Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
