Basketball Recap: Saltillo Takes a Loss

Saltillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The matchup between them and the Mooreville Troopers didn't end well, with the Saltillo Tigers falling 62-46. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Troopers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Saltillo's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mooreville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saltillo will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Biggersville at 11:00 a.m. on December 30th. Mooreville also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Corinth at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
