 Minooka had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Belleville East Lancers  an   11-0 shutout  on Friday. Considering Minooka has won 19 matches by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Taylor Mackin was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over six innings pitched. Mackin has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Mackin was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Kelly, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Mayson Carr, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 The  victory was  the seventh in a row for Minooka, bringing their record for this year to 31-3-1. As for Belleville East, their loss dropped their record down to 22-11.
 Minooka will face off against Oswego at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Minooka is looking to tack on another W to their 17-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Belleville East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
