Alex Penrod posted a new career-high in passing yards on Friday. He threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Creekview's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Penrod and Creekview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sprayberry at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. Penrod will face off against Jaden Duckett, the Yellow Jackets' star quarterback.
