Volleyball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Berea-Midpark's Third in Last Four Outings

Berea-Midpark hadn't done well against Rocky River recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Berea-Midpark walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 20-25, 28-26.

Capri Brennan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 22 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

Berea-Midpark is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Rocky River, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Berea-Midpark will head out to face off against Olmsted Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rocky River, they will venture away from home to challenge Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
