Round Valley waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the St. Johns Redskins 15-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 back in March.

Trenyn Trickey was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Baca, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Round Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They are 19-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Round Valley's record is now 21-4. As for St. Johns, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Round Valley will face off against ALA - Mesa North at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Elks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for St. Johns, they will take on Greyhills Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
