Volleyball Recap: Brad Chier's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Victory Christian Academy over Poway

Victory Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Poway on Friday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Titans. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brad Chier, who had six digs, five kills, and one block. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last 22 games he's played.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Poway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-14.

Victory Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pacific Ridge on the 25th. As for Poway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ramona on the 25th.
