Teagan Watts leads a balanced attack to beat Ashland-Greenwood

Recap: Wahoo Warriors vs. Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays

The Wahoo Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Ashland-Greenwood with a sharp 40-16 win on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Wahoo has won by exactly 24 points.

Wahoo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Teagan Watts out in front who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Lausterer, who scored nine points.

Wahoo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Ashland-Greenwood, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wahoo will be staying on the road on December 28th to face off against Seward at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they will challenge Nebraska City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Nebraska City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Saturday.
