Baseball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Chesapeake's offense. They came up short against the Ironton Fighting Tigers on Friday, falling 14-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Fighting Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ironton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chesapeake is set to take on their familiar foe Dawson-Bryant at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ironton will face off against rival Gallia Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
