Volleyball Recap: South Lenoir's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games + How To Watch

South Lenoir came into Tuesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pender Patriots on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 15-25, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Pender still got an impressive performance from Jensen Bordeaux, who had 14 digs, six kills, four aces, and one block. Bordeaux is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Woodcock, who had 15 digs and two aces.

South Lenoir's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Pender, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
