Volleyball Recap: Tilden Triumphs

Tilden won the last time they faced Simeon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolverines, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Tilden had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Tilden's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Simeon, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tilden will take on Hancock at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Simeon, they will head out to challenge Juarez at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
