Basketball Game Preview: Martins Mill Mustangs vs. Tyler Legacy Raiders

The Martins Mill Mustangs and the Tyler Legacy Raiders will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Martins Mill came up short against Madison and fell 57-50. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Trojans are ranked 385th).

Meanwhile, Tyler Legacy hadn't done well against Mt. Pleasant recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Raiders came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 49-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Tyler Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Martins Mill, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2.
