The Liberty Ranch Hawks will head out to square off against the Rosemont Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Ranch will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
On Friday, Liberty Ranch earned a 28-21 win over Bradshaw Christian. The 28-point effort marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Liberty Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andrew Quinn led the charge by rushing for 134 yards and two scores. Quinn also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Liberty Ranch also got a significant boost from Joe Lara, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Liberty Ranch was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 316 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 314 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Liberty Ranch's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Wyatt Corriea and Gabe Onuegbu, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Rosemont ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against El Dorado, sneaking past 19-16. Surprisingly, this marked the Wolverines' seventh straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Liberty Ranch better focus on containing Alex 'Pit' Rodriguez and Gus Bailey as the pair were huge in Rosemont's win. 'Pit' Rodriguez rushed for 65 yards and a pair of TDs, while Bailey picked up 75 receiving yards. An impressive showing, but 'Pit' Rodriguez really ramped things up playing D: he picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles.
Liberty Ranch's record is now 8-0. As for Rosemont, their record now sits at 6-2.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Liberty Ranch has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 444.4 total yards per game. However, it's not like Rosemont struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 368 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Everything came up roses for Liberty Ranch against Rosemont when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
