Football Game Recap: Redan vs. Stone Mountain

After having lost a blowout in their game last Friday against Lovett, Stone Mountain were happy to find some success on Saturday. Stone Mountain captured a comfortable 35-20 victory over Redan. The win was a breath of fresh air for Stone Mountain as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Finally capturing their first win of the season, Stone Mountain advanced to 1-6. Redan are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Stone Mountain will take on Towers at home at 5:15 PM next week. Towers are limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak. As for Redan, they will face off against Westminster. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
