Baseball Recap: North Laurel Comes Up Short

The matchup between North Laurel and Rockcastle County on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Jaguars fell 16-11 to the Rockets. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

North Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Rockcastle County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Laurel will challenge Corbin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redhounds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rockcastle County, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Wayne County at 6:00 p.m.
