Pekin has gone a perfect 5-0 against Olympia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dragons will look to defend their home pitch against the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. Olympia took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pekin, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Pekin turned things around against Canton on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Little Giants 2-1.

Meanwhile, Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Illinois Valley Central, falling 7-0.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Pekin, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-14.

Everything went Pekin's way against Olympia in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Pekin made off with a 6-0 victory. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
