Football Game Recap: Glasgow vs. Franklin-Simpson

Franklin-Simpson won the last time they faced Glasgow, and things went their way on Friday, too. Franklin-Simpson took their match against Glasgow by a conclusive 48-21 score. Followers of Franklin-Simpson probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Franklin-Simpson started the matchup off right with 21 first-half points. Glasgow came up with 7 to make it 21-7 heading into the break. The Franklin-Simpson defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Franklin-Simpson's record up to 5-1. The defeat dropped Glasgow's record to 5-1.

Franklin-Simpson will stay at home next week against Allen County-Scottsville at 7:00 PM. Franklin-Simpson will be strutting in after a win while Allen County-Scottsville will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Glasgow, they will face off against Greenup County. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
