The Mountain View Lobos waltzed into Friday's match with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ysleta 51-20 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Mountain View, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Mountain View's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bresais Escalante, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Escalante has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Natalia Salas was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.

Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Ysleta, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Mountain View will be playing in front of their home fans against Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Ysleta, they will head out on the road to face off against Chapin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Chapin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
