Wisner-Pilger is 8-2 against Tekamah-Herman since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Gators will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Wisner-Pilger came up short against Douglas County West/Concordia and fell 2-0.

Wisner-Pilger was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Tekamah-Herman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to North Bend Central.

Tekamah-Herman took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-20.

Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Tekamah-Herman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-21.

Wisner-Pilger was able to grind out a solid win over Tekamah-Herman in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Gators repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
