League recap: Kell moves into state Top 25

Kell was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Lassiter. The Longhorns came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.

Pope lost to Etowah 41-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Kell's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matthew McGuigan threw for 197 yards and Julian Burris had 63 yards receiving. On the ground Jay Moxey chipped in 76 yards. Errol Breaux helped Kell's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 57 yards.

Derek Cook's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
