It was a good run, but Northwest Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Willow Canyon Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Sam Caldwell paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Caldwell got some help from Trace Martin and his 21 assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
