Volleyball Game Preview: North Crowley Panthers vs. Lake Ridge Eagles

North Crowley hasn't had much luck against Lake Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when North Crowley took on Mansfield on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

North Crowley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lake Ridge came up short against Mansfield Legacy on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Lake Ridge had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19.

Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 24-11. As for North Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.

North Crowley might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lake Ridge when the teams last played back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
