Soccer Game Preview: Perry vs. Hoover

The Perry Panthers will challenge the Hoover Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Perry barely beat Dover the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers never let the Crimson Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Thursday. Considering Perry have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in August, Hoover was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor Washington could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Perry's win bumped their record up to 10-3. With that draw, Hoover's record moves to 4-5-4.

Perry beat Hoover 3-1 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
