Soccer Game Preview: South San Antonio vs. Southside

South San Antonio is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Southside a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the South San Antonio duke it out with the Southside at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South San Antonio lost 6-1 to Jay on Tuesday. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Meanwhile, Southside didn't have quite enough to beat Jay on Monday and fell 4-3.

South San Antonio's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

South San Antonio beat Southside by a goal when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 1-0. Will South San Antonio repeat their success, or does Southside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
