Basketball Recap: Somerset Academy Losee Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Somerset Academy Losee extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jayla Lewis. The Somerset Academy Losee Lions breezed by the Eldorado Firehawks to the tune of 53-19 on Thursday thanks in part to Lewis, who posted 23 points along with seven assists and five steals. She has been hot, having posted five or more steals the last five times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Janelle Haynes, who had four points and 11 boards. Those 11 boards gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Eldorado lost, don't look at Sara Torrico. Despite the final result, she put up eight points. Tyteaira Foreman was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.
