Baseball Recap: Washington Township Minutemen vs. Cherokee Chiefs
Washington Township lost against Cherokee back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Minutemen took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Washington Township saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giovanni Christinzio, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
Washington Township's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Cherokee, their win bumped their record up to 22-3.
As of now, neither Washington Township nor the Chiefs have any future games scheduled.
