Jefferson hasn't had much luck against The Pinnacle recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Saints are taking a road trip to face off against the Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Jefferson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Lake County with a sharp 8-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Jefferson needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Lake County from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Santiago Siliezar Torrez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, The Pinnacle hasn't lost a match since September 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. Neither they nor Alameda could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time The Pinnacle have been dealt a draw since back in September.

With that draw, The Pinnacle's record moves to 5-2-2. As for Jefferson, the win got them back to even at 4-4-3.

Jefferson was able to grind out a solid victory over The Pinnacle in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
