Baseball Game Preview: Sherburne-Earlville Marauders vs. Canastota Red Raiders

Sherburne-Earlville hasn't had much luck against Canastota recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Marauders will square off against the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Sherburne-Earlville has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sherburne-Earlville's offense. They lost 12-0 to Oriskany on Wednesday. The Marauders just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Canastota ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jordan-Elbridge, sneaking past 4-2. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Sherburne-Earlville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Canastota, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4.
