Baseball Recap: Grace Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-3 to the Brunswick Railroaders.

Grace Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Walls, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Landon Downie also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Grace Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Brunswick, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Grace Academy will square off against Frederick at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brunswick will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' matchup: after the Knights face off against the Cadets, they'll take on Brunswick again at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
