Volleyball Recap: Clear Falls Comes Up Short

Clear Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the St. John's Mavericks.

Clear Falls' offense was headlined by London Woods and Shirley Pingel, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Riley Martinsen and her six assists.

Clear Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. John's, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Clear Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Santa Fe on the 23rd. As for St. John's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Bellaire on the 23rd.
