Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Victory

Liberty Christian Academy strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 98-49 win over Eagle Ridge Christian. With Liberty Christian Academy ahead 58-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Liberty Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Phoenix Obermann out in front who shot 69% from the field to rack up 25 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Obermann's big performance that evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Willy Mueller, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 19 rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Liberty Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Liberty Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
