Baseball Recap: Mehlville Takes a Loss

If Mehlville was feeling good fresh off their 10-4 takedown of Webster Groves last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mehlville lost 11-1 to the Lindbergh Flyers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Flyers: they've now lost three in a row.

Mehlville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lindbergh, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mehlville will challenge Bishop DuBourg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lindbergh, they will square off against Howell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
