After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Hill, Symmes Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Minford Falcons get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Symmes Valley pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Minford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Symmes Valley will venture away from home to take on Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Minford, they will host Manchester at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
