Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Michael Ray Stinnett and Ferlandas Wright Lead Fairdale to Victory

On Friday, the Fairdale Bulldogs got the win against the David Crockett Pioneers by a conclusive 70-45. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Fairdale was led to victory by Ferlandas Wright and Michael Ray Stinnett. Wright dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Stinnett went 7 of 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points. With that strong performance, Wright is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamari Roberts, who posted eight points.

Fairdale's record now sits at 7-4. As for David Crockett, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Fairdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-72 victory against Chapmanville Regional on the 28th. As for David Crockett, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-48 defeat against Atlantic on the 30th.
