Basketball Recap: Simms Drops Highest Score of Season Against Augusta

Simms was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 42-29 to the Augusta Elks. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Simms' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Augusta, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Simms will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cascade on January 3, 2025. Simms has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Augusta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
