Basketball Game Preview: Holmes County Blue Devils vs. Dothan Wolves

The Holmes County Blue Devils and the Dothan Wolves will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Holmes County saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-37 win over Geneva. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Dothan earned a 44-35 win over Chipley on Thursday.

Holmes County's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Dothan, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Holmes County came up short against Dothan in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, falling 56-46. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
