Volleyball Recap: Epiphany Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Epiphany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Greenfield Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Epiphany took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-23.

Epiphany's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Greenfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Epiphany and Greenfield could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Falcons will challenge Liberty Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (431 vs. 145). Meanwhile, Greenfield (ranked 309th) will meet Lawrence Academy (ranked 149th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
