Basketball Recap: George-Little Rock Takes a Loss

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks, falling 67-47. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

George-Little Rock has already played their next contest, a 77-23 defeat against Hinton on the 10th. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-43 victory against West Sioux on the 10th.
