Manteno entered their tilt with Serena on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Huskers.

Maddie Gesky paced Manteno's offense, picking up 13 kills. Gesky got some help from Leah Donnelly and her 12 assists. Gesky was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Manteno's victory bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Serena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10-1 record this season.
