Clear Fork had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They won by a set and slipped past the Lucas Cubs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Colts have posted since September 7, 2024.

Clear Fork had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-21, 25-21.

Lucas lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lila Melton, who had 14 digs.
