Basketball Recap: Robbinsdale Cooper Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to the Simley Spartans. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Robbinsdale Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Simley, they moved to 5-11 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robbinsdale Cooper will welcome Fridley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fridley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Robbinsdale Cooper likes a good challenge. As for Simley, they will be playing at home against Two Rivers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
