Prattville Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Childersburg Tigers a 5-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matches in a row.

Childersburg's batters probably weren't too happy with Blake Bowman, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (he gave up zero walks). Bowman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Conner Williams was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Ethan Walls was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Prattville Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 28-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Childersburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17-1.
