Softball Recap: Brownwood Lions vs. Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees

Brownwood won the last time they faced Stephenville and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions blew past the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees 10-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Lions have posted against the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees since April 23, 2021.

Kaydence Allen made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
