Basketball Game Preview: Ketchikan Kings vs. Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears

Ketchikan hasn't had much luck against Juneau-Douglas recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Ketchikan Kings will jump right back in to play the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Ketchikan had to suffer through a 64-36 loss at the hands of Juneau-Douglas. While losing is never fun, the Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Crimson Bears are ranked sixth).

The win was the third in a row for Juneau-Douglas, bringing their record for this year to 18-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Ketchikan, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.
