Vanguard scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 74-66 to the Forest Wildcats. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Vanguard is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8. As for Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanguard will square off against Trinity Catholic at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Forest, they will challenge Sarasota at 4:50 p.m. on Saturday.
