Basketball Recap: Pennsauken Tech Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Pennsauken Tech and Camden squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pennsauken Tech had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Camden Panthers 102-36. While losing is never fun, Pennsauken Tech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Camden is ranked 13th).

Omari Spencer was Pennsauken Tech's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. James Stout held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Pennsauken Tech has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. Camden is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Pennsauken Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Camden, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Tigers on Monday.
