Soccer Recap: Richmond-Burton Comes Up Short

Richmond-Burton managed to keep up with Cary-Grove until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rockets came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0. If Richmond-Burton were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to Cary-Grove when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Richmond-Burton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Cary-Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-2.

Coming up, Richmond-Burton will face off against Grayslake North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cary-Grove, they will take on Dundee-Crown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
