Belgrade faced Great Falls in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers blew past the Bison 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Krissy Carrillo was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Rylee Feight was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Belgrade always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Great Falls only posted an OBP of .263.
Belgrade has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That lines up perfectly with their 7-1-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Great Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Meanwhile, Great Falls will challenge rival Gallatin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
