Dynamic duo of Elizabeth Gonzalez and Bianca Aviles lead Morgan to victory

Recap: Morgan Eagles vs. Covington Owls
The Morgan Eagles had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 37-31 W over Covington on Tuesday. This was payback for Morgan, who suffered a 35-25 loss the last time these two teams met.
Morgan was led to victory by Elizabeth Gonzalez and Bianca Aviles. Gonzalez scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Aviles scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Gonzalez hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Joceline Mendoza, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Morgan's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-17. As for Covington, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Covington also has no future games currently scheduled.
