Burroughs has gone 8-2 against Hesperia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Burros will head out on the road to face off against the Scorpions at 5:15 p.m.

Burroughs lost 3-0 to Sultana on Monday. The Burros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 26-24.

Hesperia extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Dylanna Akwaboah. The Scorpions put the hurt on Serrano with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday for which the team can thank Akwaboah, who had eight digs and three aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 31 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hesperia took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

Hesperia's victory bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Burroughs, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6.
